Our customers operate at the forefront of technology, dealing with some of the most advanced defense, geospatial, and intelligence systems in the world.HOW A CLOUD DEVELOPER SR WILL MAKE AN IMPACTThe Cloud Developer will be responsible for working with highly functional development team automating service deployments; optimizing system performance; integrating with enterprise authentication services; establishing/improving system monitoring; maintaining established security protocols; provide customers technical support. The Cloud Developer will be integrated with an agile environment participating with scrums and other meetings.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct full range of cloud development, administrative and IT operational tasks to support multiple domains to meet business needs

Build and support AWS infrastructure resources using CloudFormation and Code Pipeline (GitLab, Python, and Terraform)

Automate the creation and management of IAM users, and policies

Automate the access of AWS services to Development teams

Automate maintenance and cleanup scripts utilizing Python for Chargeback and cost savings

Use CloudWatch metrics to monitor the health and utilization of AWS resources and applications

Develop, document, and perform system maintenance plans

Required Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and/or work experience

8+ years of IT Developer experience

DoD 8140/8570 IAT III compliance (CASP+ CE, CISA, CISSP)

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology

Familiarity with DevOps development processes and GitLab Continuous Integration tool

Strong understanding of RHEL/CentOS Linux distributions

Experience with Python

Knowledge of Containerization and Kubernetes

Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services

Strong troubleshooting skills

Desired Skills:

Understanding of cloud APIs

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC); preferably Terraform
